Neoprene Rubber

Neoprene rubber offers good oil and abrasion resistance.  Neoprene is moisture and weather resistant and is the most widely used rubber in the industry.

 

The most outstanding properties are:

· Excellent moisture and weather resistance

· Wear and abrasion resistant

· Exhibits good chemical stability and maintains flexibility

· Good oil resistance and resistance to UV

 

Neoprene can be used in a temperature range from –30°F to +200°F.

Tensile Strength:  1,000 to 2,500 psi

Recommended for Outdoor Use:  YES

 

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Applications include:  most applications exposed to moisture, UV, ozone, oxidation, sand and dust.  Resistant to a wide range of oils and is an excellent choice for most gasketing applications.

Sheet:  1/64” to 1” thick

Durometers:  40A, 50A, 60A, 70A

 

Available in the following styles:  plain backed and adhesive-backed sheets and strips, fabric finished, and fabric inserted sheets and strips
